I’ve also been busy trying to get ready for our upcoming trip to Sweden and Denmark. We have finalized our accommodation plans. The first half of the week we will be staying at the Elite Hotel Ideon in Lund, Sweden. https://www.elite.se/sv/hotell/lund/hotel-ideon/# Elite Hotel Ideon opened in Lund’s tallest building. The hotel is a modern full-service hotel with 178 rooms on 14 floors. The hotel features a restaurant called NorthEast as well as an Italian café. The hotel and the entire building have a very advanced environmental thinking with a large number of energy-saving innovations. I’m excited to see the rooms. Best of all…Zoee can see this hotel from her apartment!!
Tuesday morning we have been invited to a Scandinavian style breakfast at the Magle’s Smiley Inn in Lund, Sweden. http://www.smileyinn.se/?lang=en Magle’s Smiley Inn is a Bed & Breakfast near Lund’s city center. The rooms are designed by architect Pia Sӧderman. We are very excited to be able to meet the owner and tour the Inn.
The second part of our week will be spent in Copenhagen, Denmark. We will be staying at the Radisson Blu Royal in city center. http://www.radissonblu.com/royalhotel-copenhagen
The Radisson Blu Royal Hotel is near Tivoli Gardens in Denmark’s capital city. Designed by Danish architect Arne Jacobsen, the hotel is a inspiration of style with its spiral staircase and reflective façade. The hotel has unique design elements such as the famous Swan and Egg chairs. We will be able to eat gourmet Danish cuisine served at Alberto K. We have booked a Royal Club room which will offer wonderful views of the city. Upon our arrival, we have arranged a site inspection with the Sales & Marketing Coordinator. I’ll be able to give you an insider’s tip.
Just our accommodations are shaping up to be a wonderful trip. We haven’t even discussed all the sights and experiences we plan to have throughout the week! I can’t wait to post pictures and share our adventures with you. Only 9 more days!!
